A pocket trauma coach

Caring for kids from tough situations is difficult. Adults need help. Not just social workers or aid workers, but parents and lay people, volunteers and community leaders. Knowing how to apply trauma-informed care in any situation helps kids feel safe. And feeling safe helps kids build resilience and reduces the chance of the child experiencing all of the lifelong negative impacts of trauma.

Trauma Talks

2023

The Delegates Dining Room at the United Nations

This initial meeting was to discuss the overall idea of tackling global trauma by forming an alliance and focusing on developing a leading edge tech approach to coaching caregivers around the world to better care for kids affected by trauma, violence, war, anxiety, displacement, COVID, etc.

The team agreed – we need to keep moving this forward!
