Meet Jessica
When we met her, she was living in an institutional children’s home. Every day she got kicked out of school by noon for being “wild” and “out of control.”
Three months after moving in with caregivers who practiced trauma-informed care, she shot to the top of her class and was transferred to a school for gifted children.
She wasn’t a defiant delinquent. She was a child who needed specific care.
Today, she’s thriving.
