Full Description

Great leaders and their organizations understand that people really are their greatest asset. Now, more than ever, this means acknowledging and responding to the overwhelming stress – and often trauma – people bring with them to the workplace. Concepts like psychological safety, relational trust, cultural humility, employee voice & choice, and personal wellness are just as important as strategic plans, financial bottom lines, and organizational vision. In fact, great organizations know they can’t have one without the other.  This course includes a downloadable Companion Guide to guide further discussion on implementation.  The guide is designed to be used within a small group of work colleagues but it can also be used by an individual.

This course includes:

  • A host guide that helps you form small discussion groups and an outline to tackle the training in just 4 weeks (about 90 minutes to 2 hours per week commitment)
  • Three learning modules: The Foundations of a Trauma-Informed Approach, The Importance of Personal Wellness, and Principles of Trauma-Informed Organizations.
  • 18 short expert-led, video-based teaching, 6 in each module
  • A Companion Guide with self reflection questions and easy-to-follow group prompts that inspire discussion and sharing of insights so you don’t need a trauma pro or moderator and your team can develop actionable steps.
