The Presentation Skills course is the final step in becoming an Affiliate Trainer. This course helps develop your skills in presenting the Trauma Competent Care information effectively across cultures.
This is an invitation-only asynchronous course starting May 15, 2025 and will be taught in three phases:
Phase 1: Online course: May 15 - June 16, 2025
Phase 2: Livestream Class: Monday, June 17, 9 AM - 4 PM EST
Phase 3: Your 15-minute Presentation session: June 19 or June 20, 2025

Course Description

Preparing and planning to teach the Advanced Trauma Competent Care course can be a daunting task! Join us as we break down the preparation, set up, and teaching process as well as work on practical skills to keep our audience engaged.
On the final day, you’ll have the opportunity to present a portion of the Advanced Trauma Competent Care curriculum to the group, putting your skills into practice.

This is an asynchronous course and will be taught in three phases:

  1. Phase One: Online learning portion (4 -6 hours) independently completed between May 15 – June 16, 2025.
  2. Phase Two: Livestream class on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm EST.
  3. Phase Three: Teach a 15-minute pre-assigned portion of the Advanced Trauma Competent Care curriculum to a group later in the week (June 19 – 20).
