The Presentation Skills course is the final step in becoming an Affiliate Trainer. The course helps you develop your skills in effectively presenting Trauma-Competent Care information across cultures.
Asynchronous Course: May 15 – June 16, 2025
(this portion should be completed before attending the livestream class on June 17)
Livestream Class: Monday, June 17, 9 AM – 4 PM EST

Your Presentation: June 19 or June 20. The final assignment will be scheduled later in the week where you will virtually teach a 15-minute pre-assigned portion of the Advanced Trauma Competent Care material to a small group.

Preparing and planning to teach the Advanced Trauma Competent Care course can be a daunting task! Join us as we break down the preparation, setup, and teaching process, as well as work on practical skills to keep our audience engaged.
This course will be taught in three phases:
Phase 1: Online learning portion (4 -6 hours) independently completed between May 15 – June 16, 2025
Phase 2: Livestream class on Tuesday, June 17, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Phase 3: Teach a 15-minute pre-assigned portion of the Advanced Trauma Competent Care material to a group later in the week (June 19 – 20.)
