Advanced Trauma Competent Care: Mason, OH June 24-26, 2024

This three-day training will benefit a wide variety of learners.  From foster, adoptive, and biological parents to teachers, coaches, and concerned community members, you’ll go beyond being just informed to being able to provide trauma competent care. The cost of the course includes daily snacks and lunch along with printed handouts.

Join Trauma-Free World’s expert trainers in-person this summer for Trauma-Competent Care training. This training will examine real-life case studies and spend extended time in small group learning activities.  Advanced Trauma Competent Care provides an in-depth examination of all nine modules of trauma content, the Essential Skills of Trauma-Informed Care, and includes assessment tools and care strategies for use in the field.

  • The Seven Essential Skills of trauma informed care – including Promoting Person Wellness and Combatting Burnout
  • Extended case study and group discussion to facilitate learning together
  • Hands-on tools provided and practical strategies explored
  • Taught in English however the trainers are fluent in Spanish and can support Spanish speaking bi-lingual learners
