Nurture Groups

Description

Nurture Groups are small, fun, play therapy groups with the intention of teaching children key skills to forming healthy relationships. Learn how to facilitate a Nurture Group for your family or neighbors or children in your care. Nurture Groups give opportunities for children to express emotion in a healthy way and to learn to self-regulate emotion and behavior. We will also guide participants in working on 4 skills necessary for healthy relationships (Jude Cassidy, 2001).

You will come away from this one hour webinar with the knowledge of how to lead a Nurture Group and 3 lessons you can use as you support children. 

Anyone can learn to lead a nurture group, no pre-requisites required.
