Trauma Free World and the University of Cincinnati are conducting research on how training can help foster parents feel more confident caring for kids who have experienced trauma. 

Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two sessions:

ThE RESEARCH & TRAINING team

The research study will be led by experts from the University of Cincinnati School of Psychology and the training will be provided by the Trauma Free World team of trainers.

Julie Cooper, PhD

Trauma Free World's SVP of Training & Curriculum Development will be the lead trainer for this course.


School of Psychology

Catie Smeyne, M.Ed, Dacia McCoy, PhD, BCBA-D, and Lori Vincent, PhD, BCBA-D will be leading the research efforts.
